inTechnology Distribution Appoints Spok industry Veteran James Mc Neill as Regional Director for Healthcare & Clinical Communications


James Mc Neill joins inTechnology, bringing 10 years of experience working with Spok Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: SPOK) and a leader in healthcare communications across the Asia Pacific Region.



SYDNEY, NSW., September 8, 2022 – inTechnology Distribution, one of Asia Pacific’s leading value-added distributors, announced today the appointment of James Mc Neill as their Regional Director for Healthcare & Critical Communications across the Asia Pacific Region.

James’s previous roles include Regional Sales Director with Spok Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: SPOK) and a leader in healthcare communications for 10+ years and WA State Channel Manager for NetApp where he helped build a highly successful channel across key industries. In his ten years with Spok, James worked across a series of solution consulting and business development roles including industries such as Gaming, Mining, Resources & Emergency Services to cement his role as the Asia Pacific Regional Sales Director that he held for over 10 years.


“Working in different areas within the health sector allowed me to see that every day there are patients, healthcare professionals and organisations dealing with the same communication issues and challenges. As well understanding how effective critical communications are within every industry” says James.


“That realisation led me to want to step away from working with individual organisations to solve individual problems and to look at opportunities to create solutions that can help key industry sectors, as a whole. My role with inTechnology puts me in a position to help more clients and resellers in a more impactful way rather than just one partner or client at a time.”


James’s role will see him regularly travel to engage, collaborate, and partner with resellers and customers across Asia Pacific to help them deliver their strategic communication priorities.


“I’ve known for a long time that communications technology has a significant and critical role to play in helping make our healthcare system more effective and efficient,” says James. “We can help healthcare systems run more effectively by creating better communications between the people coming in to receive care and those who are providing that care.”

James will be the driving force behind the re-launch of the Spok Partner Program to the APAC channel. The Partner Ecosystem will become one of the core pillars of James’s strategy for the Asia Pacific market.
